Luna has completed her last exam and has an afternoon gloriously free before the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament tonight. The entire school seems to be ready to explode from excitement (except for the four Champions – they look more likely to fly to pieces from sheer nerves).
The year is almost over. Which means it’s time for the annual making of her Lost Things flyer. Luna has already penned the original draft, and now an enchanted quill busily makes copies, flipping them into a neat stack as they are completed.
Lost Things
If found, please return to Luna Lovegood, Ravenclaw House.
1 Pair Bedroom Slippers
1 Jumper – Green
7 Pair Socks
2 Paintbrushes
1 Wristwatch
3 Strands of Beads (beetles)
1 Comb…..
The list goes on for a considerably long way.
For her part, Luna is relaxing with tea and a toasted cheese sandwich, and is idly building a glittering tower out of the sugar cubes.

Harry knows they've spent far too long in this bar. He also knows that's his fault. He'd wanted to leave as soon as he got here but then...well, how could he walk away from here, knowing his mother visited? And now he knows his father does too - can he really walk out, pass up the chance to talk to him, knowing that he may never make it back?
Needless to say, it's been another frustrating day. He'd borrowed a broom from bar and gone flying around the lake, so familiar yet in such weird surroundings. He's spent hours throwing stones as far and as high as he can, then racing to catch them, willing himself to leave it until the last possible second before scooping them up, skimming the surface of the water.
He's exhausted, and sick of it all. So now he's just sitting at the edge, throwing those same stones into the lake.

Two someones have hung up some new posters around Milliways. They've been stuck to walls and doors and some have fallen to the floor because the Sticking Charms meant to hold them up aren't that great.
(One someone was in a hurry and didn't have time to double-check his work. And, anyway, this isn't Charms class, thank you very much. Someone isn't being graded.)
( So never you mind who put them up and stop wondering about the shoddy work at Charms because the vitally important thing is whether or not you've seen this wizard. )
[Warning: Large image behind the cut.]
[OOC: Not an EP, unfortunately. But feel free to have your character react, if you want.]

[Meanwhile, on the other side of Milliways, by sheer fate that a Weasley's path hasn't crossed a Malfoy's...]
" - Bloody hell, I'm not that bored," Ron complains when Bar presents him with a copy of Hogwarts: A History.
Never you mind that he's been complaining about being bored for the past twenty or so minutes since he's sat down at her counter.
"Haven't you've got any news or anything? I'm not asking about the future, just, y'know, news?"
A copy of the Daily Prophet appears.
"That's a terrible picture of Harry."
He's laughing.
She tells him to turn the page, ever-so-politely from a cheery yellow napkin.

Hermione sits at the bar tonight with a mug of butterbeer and a book (Hogwarts, a History, the revised edition). It's been open to the same page for almost half an hour now, and her drink has likely gone woefully flat.
All of it had been meant to work as something of a distraction from ... well, everything else happening in her life.
And, perhaps most importantly, the life of her best friend.
She hasn't talked to Harry about it since their conversation outside. And honestly, she isn't sure she can.
She is loathe to admit it, but she doesn't know how. And that's the really frustrating bit.
All this time and space, all these questions and answers, all these temptations and possibilities, and Hermione suddenly wonders if finding this place was really a good thing at all.

After this meeting:
Harry strides up to the bar, rubbing his eyes furiously. But there's no waver in his voice when he says,
'A Pensieve, please.'
His hand is steady as he draws out the conversation he had with Hermione and both meetings he's had with his mother in this place. He's pushing the bowl away almost before the silvery strands fall into place and then he steps back, and breathes.
'Keep it away from me,' he mutters to Bar, as he shoves his wand back in his pocket. It disappears and a Butterbeer appears silently in its place. He takes it and heads straight for the stairs, ignoring everything around him as he goes.
[OOC: Not an EP, thanks. He'll get one one day but not tonight. :)]

Mia's been out on holiday for quite some time now. Some of that holiday was spent walking the streets of London. Muggle London, not Wizarding London.
And believe it or not, Muggle London was Draco's idea.
Seriously.
Much like last year, Mia seems to hold that maternal belief that everyone is far too cold and has left plenty of warm winter clothes for the family and friends as gifts, all of them enchanted with her special brand of fire magic to keep them nice and toasty. Only this time, everyone also has a box of nice chocolates.
Though there is one big exception...
( Harry, Ron, and Hermione )
That done, Mia is sitting with Cepheus, telling him a story from one of the books he received for Christmas.

You know how sometimes you have a long day and then, just as you get home, someone thinks it wasn't long enough and decides to make it even longer?
Yeah.
Mia's having one of those days with Cepheus.
He's decided to try out being stubborn for a change. He's plenty interested in food but more interested in Mama wearing it than any of it going into his mouth. He's discovered that, if he can time it just right, he can move his head back with his mouth firmly shut and then use his hand to flick the spoon so Mama gets covered in mushy carrots or baby cereal. And then, when Mama tries to take the food away so she doesn't get covered in his dinner, he fusses. It's all really rather brilliant as far as parental defiance goes.
Mia puts her head on the table and softly moans, "You must be hungry so why won't you eat?"
Cepheus takes this opportunity to mash the mushy carrots into her hair.
Yeah.

It is generally believed that first-time patrons to Milliways bar enter through the front door.
Most of the time, this is true.
But tonight, in the case of two wizards and one witch, their arrival point is really quite unusual.
After a loud pop! (the familiar sound of Apparating), the trio (exhausted, scared, dirty and very much worse for wear) ends up Outdoors by the trees - a fair distance away from the Bar.
The scenery is terribly familiar. It does, after all, resemble the grounds at Hogwarts, with their scenic mountains, lakes, and mild temperatures. But there's something ... off about it. Something a little different.
In the midst of their confusion, it is Hermione Granger who falls first, barely stirring after the events at Malfoy Manor, sagging heavily between her two best friends - one Harry Potter, and one Ron Weasley.

A week or so after her meeting with Tom Riddle, Hermione (now toting her newest copy of Hogwarts: A History and feeling much calmer) comes into the bar for her usual cup of morning tea and toast.
And just like every morning, it is part of her routine to finish her breakfast, do a spot of reading, then try her door just in case today is the day it opens.
Well - Hermione's in luck, because after she finishes her breakfast and Chapter Three of her book, she tries the door.
And lo - it opens.
She isn't sure whether to feel relief or dread about it. But her resolve is made when she remembers that Harry and Ron need her, and she needs them.
So, without thinking about it (a very rare thing for Miss Granger), she exits the Bar, leaving a number of her belongings still up in her room.
The door clicks shut behind her.

The first thing Hermione Granger does when she is released from the cells is check on her Door. A little more than dismayed that it still refuses to open, she returns to the Bar, asks her for a warm cup of tea and settles in a booth by herself. (The booth in question is near the back, out of view from most of the tables.)
She still has Mia's book with her. And sticking out from the pages is also an envelope that has yet to be opened.
Hermione isn't sure what possessed her to keep the letter sealed until now; maybe it's fear, maybe something else entirely. After a moment's thought and a sip of her tea, she finally slips it out from the book's pages, chips off the wax, and pulls the letter from the envelope.
She reads it three, four, five times before she flags down a passing waitrat for a piece of blank parchment and a quill. Then ... she begins to write.

Tom sits at a table for a change, finally catching up on the weekend edition of The Daily Prophet. The cover features the Quidditch World Cup; Tom skimmed the coverage quickly for the contents within.
He never was a fan of the sport. He's not really a fan of the The Daily Prophet, either, preferring the New York Wizarding Times, but one's lifelong habits are hard to break.
He's wearing his usual dark suitrobes, and a scotch is at hand. It's been a long day, he's tired, and the news is- well. It's rarely ever good, is it? Even in these days of relative quiet. He's pleased, as he often is, to have the Underside to call home.

Having been Bound by the bar, Hermione is making herself useful in the library today.
Mostly, it consists of familiarizing herself with the volumes upon volumes of magical information (learning so much more than she could ever have imagined; and thinking how wonderful it would be if such and such a book were included, or if there was a companion book to this subject that could be added to the collection), and dusting off the tables and lamps.
Every afternoon, she checks on her door - tugs at it a little just to make sure it's locked - before she busies herself once more.
While she loves this library (marvels at it, even), her anxieties over the outside world are ever present, regardless of the knowledge that time stops while she's here.
Still, books make her happy and the busy-work keeps her from going mad.
So, it is a quietly humming Hermione who may be chanced upon if you happen to come by the magical library.

Hermione Granger has a bit of a problem.
It's not a terrible one, mind you, knowing that time stops and everything.
But - it's still enough of a worry that there is a clear indication of her anxiety written across her face.
Her door won't open.
Oh, it's there. And when she reached out to grab the handle, everything is as it usually would be. Hermione may not come here frequently, but she's been coming and going to the bar long enough that she knows the routine.
But when she started to tug on the handle, to pull it open and let herself back into the chaotic world currently being fought over by You-Know-Who and a falling Ministry, her door did not budge.
And still, though she may try valiantly, even cast a spell or two ("Alohomora!"), the door seems to have no intentions of letting her out.
"Oh come on, you stupid thing!" she curses quietly.

Everything has been cleared up and tidied; what Asar-Suti needs to take with him, fits into one satchel.
Admittedly, larger within than without.
As he comes downstairs from the library for one last time, Asar-Suti has a paper to put on the notice board:
I have gone to live with Gil in his world.
Goodbye to everybody who met me; it was nice to know you!
Dinah Lance takes over the garden; Hermione Granger takes over the library, with Ava Wilson as her helper. Please meet up and organise the work!
I wish you all a pleasant (after-)life,
Asar-Suti
Then, Asar-Suti walks to the door, opens it on a lovely autumn countryside, steps through, and closes the door.
The Purple One has left the building.-
