Tom sits at a table slightly out of the way this evening. He's looking, well, a little pensive.
It's been a long, strange week, what with the Legilimency incident with Deitmar and the duel out back with Sylar.

He liked that shit. Real casual, like ain't no one on the other side of the door lookin' for him, he saunters across the room.
"Hey." It's Tom Question Lord Whatever his name is. "I remember you."
no subject
He also remembers the headache he had the next day from drinking with Mugen. Even with a Hangover potion, it was a doozy.

He ain't the type to ask someone if they got something or other on their mind: that ain't the way he thinks. But he notices damn near everything, including the expression on King Tom's face. "You need more sake? Me, I just won a bunch of money so I could buy this time."
Maybe won is a little bit of an exaggeration, but the guys he got it from? They ain't here, and he is, and he ain't leaving for a good long time.
Food here's better than out there anyhow. And there's more chicks.

"Do you know, I think I'll say no to the sake, as I'd like to sleep in my bed and not the guest room tonight."
no subject
One tattooed wrist directs a rough, scarred hand through his hair as well as it can.
"I mean, uh... yeah. Sorry, only not really." He stretches his legs; the soles of his shoes clack against the floor. "Mind if I do?"
Don't matter if this guy cares or not, he's gonna have his sake anyhow. It's just a question of where. Then a thought hits him.
"Hey. Didn't you say you were a wizard or some shit like that?"
no subject
Two glasses. That's all he's having tonight.
Really.
no subject
"Then... how come you couldn't just get what you want? Like... sleep in your own bed any damn time, or if you ain't feelin' good, make your hangover or whatever just go away?" Seems like if you got magic, you're kind of duty bound to use that shit. Ain't it like some ninja code or something?
Or maybe it don't work that way where Tom comes from.
That would suck.

Especially when his magic is close to the magic of others she's met here.
He'll probably notice her own likely unfamiliar magic when she cautiously approaches him and asks, "A silver piece for your thoughts?"
no subject
He smiles politely. "I thank you. I'm simply- reflecting on some recent events, is all."
no subject
Her blush betrays just what those issues are.
"At least my current ones are considerably more pleasant to deal with. I hope the same can be said for you?"
no subject
"I should like to think so," he replies. "I'm Tom Riddle, Lord Ostium of the House of Arch. Would you like to join me?"
no subject
"I would at that."
And since he gave his full name and title:
"I am Mia Ausa, Guildmaster of the Magic Guild of Vane."
no subject
Well, how interesting.
"It's a pleasure, Mia Ausa. I believe you know a friend of mine - Draco Malfoy."

"Evening Tom, you alright?" He politely asked.
no subject
Usually it's Draco who needs the company and the talking to. Not tonight.
no subject
"Of course," Draco swiftly answered, and sat down on a seat across from him. He folded his hands in front of him, and simply waited.

"I've had a strange week. Have you met either a fellow about your age called Deitmar? Or a fellow about my age called Sylar?"

He scowls and looks away.
"Sometimes it's very easy to slip into bad habits. It bothers me when I do so."
