Draco had spoken to Potter a while back, and Harry mentioned a secret. Something horrible and evil. One that's unspeakable and unforgiveable. Worse than Voldemort himself.
He steeled himself, and asked the Bar for some.
There was a note on a napkin, "Are you sure about this?"
"Yes, just give them already." He scooped up the materials. If you listened closely, you could almost hear the distant voices of cackling evil laughter, and piercingly shrill squees of delight.
He carefully placed them on a table, and ordered a drink. Just from what Harry had said before, he knew he would need it.
Mr. Malfoy was learning about the evil that is HP fandom. (Though luckily, he's being spared the truly mind numbingly worse of the lot, because that's too much for most muns, much less the pup.)
Shortly into reading, there's a loud cry, "URRRGHHHH! I don't even LIKE HIM! And WHY AM I PREGNANT??"

"Good. When do you have the time?"
And how long will it take before she whips Draco in combat?no subject
"Well, there's work, and my normal sword practice. But there's plenty of time besides that."

She flushes a little with pleasure.
"He's going to teach me how to fire dance."

She says some soft words and before long there's a tongue of flame dancing on and around her fingertips.
"As far as I know, the only reason I'll be able to learn is because my fire magic doesn't consume me directly. Otherwise, I would be burned alive."

She lets the tongue of flame dance around her wrist and play up her arm.

Draco watched the fire for a moment, and put his hand near it to feel the warmth.

Before long, the flame goes out in a little puff of smoke.
"Guess I lost my concentration," she says pleasantly.

"I also like seeing you surprised like that."
She's leaning on his shoulder now.
"And seeing you speechless, and seeing you smile and laugh, and seeing you worry over nothing, and seeing you huff when you don't get your way."
She smiles up at him.
"I just like seeing you."
no subject
He held her close, and replied, "I like seeing you too." Oh Merlin did that sound lame in comparison. So he covered it up by kissing her instead.

Afterward, she glances in the direction of the fanfiction.
"You know, I bet I could burn that pile of-" glancing to see, brief look of mortification on her face, "-rather outrageous stories without burning the table."

Tricky, but she manages to burn it in the most difficult, and therefore most impressive way possible.

Better think of something to say or she'll just melt into a puddle.
"By the way, could you tell me a bit more about your world? The truth, not what's in those stories. I did a little reading about England, a newspaper from Miss Bar."
And there was that place that Remy was from, that cute little rat, that he said wasn't far from England.
What was it called again? Pears? What a silly name for a city.

"And then there's London, where you can find Diagon Alley, and Knockturn Alley." He briefly talked about those places, and then the town of Hogsmeade near the school. And the trips they would let the students take over there. It was clear in his tone of voice how he still missed it. Missed his world still.
no subject
"We can still go there, right? And there was another place that I heard about that sounded interesting. I was told that it was near England."
She thinks it over. Could it really be called that? Surely she must be getting something wrong.
"It sounds like pears?"
no subject
"Yes, I got some potion prepared for it. Knew I had to stop back there possibly soon."
He then tried to think. Near England, and he wordlessly sounded it out. Pears? Parrzzz? Oh.
"Paris? That's somewhere in France. It's a different country. I suppose it's sort of close?" Draco currently has a leg up on most wizards. He's studied geography a little.
no subject
No one has told her a thing about the romantic ideas that are usually attached to Paris, but then, she got all of her information about the city from brief mentions in a newspaper and a talking rat.
