There are quite a number of brightly colored plastic things all over the floor in Milliways. We're talking, easily thirty of each four types of manipulatives.
All
Over
The
Floor
You have not even SEEN a mess before you have seen the way a toddler can mess up a room with a bunch of tiny plastic toys. As for the toddler in question, she is planted somewhere in the middle of the mess, playing with the toys. She is still wearing the shirt with names all over it (BOO! being the prominent one) and the house shoes that jingle and sing. Every once in awhile she'll wiggle her feet and either jinglejingle or "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands" can be heard. And next to her is a pink adult sized throw made out of what is possibly the softest material ever.
Oh the fun she's having.

"Boo!" she said.

"Interesting," she said.

Care about little girl feelings, are you mad?
no subject
"OOOK!" She points to the crushed toy.

Deliberately, we're sure.

Lucrecia only watches her play. A part of her wants to play with her, ask her name, brush her hair, even take care of her. But it's not as if that is her child. And it's not as if she can even pretend to be a mother, her mother.
She picks up one of those colorful toys in her hands, looking at the shape. It's a train. She doesn't expect it to squeak at her when she squeezes, and with a small startle, drops it back to the ground as if it were alive, feeling somewhat silly with herself thereafter.

She kneels down somewhat awkwardly upon a portion of cluttered floor space and begins to build semblances of something elaborate with available manipulatives.

He puts his tray on a table and clip clops across, small hooves fitting in the gaps between toys then folds his hocks to crouch down and look at the little girl.
"Oh, pretty shoes," he says.

Boo grins at him. She approves of the noticing of the pretty singing shoes. After all, they are awesome.
She wiggles her feet again. jinglejingle!
no subject
He extends a hand and touches the shoes gently. "Sopretty," he says.
"Boo?" News like Boo travels fast. He touches his own aproned chest. "Gil."

"Impwessive." Allana says as she steps around the toys, her strange little pet in her arms. Princess Holli bleats at her in agreement.
The four year old reaches the toddler and warily eyes her. "Can I pway too?"

"BAD! NO OOK!"
Distraught Boo is distraught.

"Who broke your toys?"
Someone's going to pay for making this little girl cry!

The manilla envelope in his hands has most of his focus right now so when he crosses the section of the bar that's been claimed as Boo territory he's unaware and promptly steps on one of the toys, breaks it, skids on the pieces and falls on his ass.
"WOAH! OW! SHIT!" The envelope leaves his hands, but fortunately doesn't scatter all over, and he lays on his back grimacing.
no subject
SHE JUST WANTS TO PLAY! WHY DO ALL THE MEAN PEOPLE KEEP TRYING TO BREAK ALL OF HER TOYS?!
It starts of quiet, more of a whine, but then dramatically increases in volume until she's wailing.
no subject
He looks around and finds the smashed toy and picks it up, "I'll fix it! I will I'll..." He starts trying to fit the pieces together and quickly realizes that's not gonna happen. "Crap, I'm sorry, I can..."
If it don't fit, force it and Bill is trying just that hoping to quiet the wailing toddler.
