That owl is --
-- yes, that one there --
-- it is eying you something fierce.
Or it might not be, that might just be the way its face is stuck, but it --
-- oop, there goes its head, 270 degrees.
(Show-off.)
Seriously, though.
It was definitely staring at one point.

Her beak moves, but no sound comes out. She settles for clapping it together a few times.

It's possible Leto said something similar once upon a time.
Not that she listened.

Either she is just obstinate, or the face-freezing has already happened.

If the owl will not heed her Sage Advice, Artemis will just have to return her attention to her beer and pot stickers. (Which are totally brain foods.)

He has more animation in his face.
A rock had more animation but whatever.

(This may serve as a bit of an explanation as for why the owl starts waddling after him.)

One of the most dangerous beings in his universe is a mouse with a giant key. He doesn't take little things like being an animal for granted.

Extremely flexible-necked bird!
Hello, bird. There is a sprite staring back at you.

Because if so, it is ON.

So yes, Cerberus had been dozing. Had been, that is until the familiar odor of divinity caught his nostrils. At the moment he is laying, sphinx-like on the floor, one great head turned in the owl's direction, his eyes not quite making direct contact.

Hey there.

Hail, Pallas Athena.
Cerberus is always formal when addressing deities. Always. But in come cases... In some cases, perhaps more caution is required than in others.

A woman with one hand held out with the promise of scritches. Because the three-headed guardian of Hell deserves them sometimes, too.
