The Bar seems to have taken it upon herself to update Anakin's wardrobe. This morning, she presented him with a pair of jeans and a T-shirt reading 'Jedi do it forcefully.' He is currently wearing both items and looking perplexed.

Kitty sees the shirt.

Kitty stares.

Kitty just about falls over laughing.

Now he's even more confused. "Kitten? What is it?"

"Oh, God," she wheezes, slumping onto the floor, shaking with laughter. "I can't breathe." Face in her hands, nearly crying. "Your...shirt..."

"What about it?"

She can't answer, her shoulders are shaking so hard. Just gasps for breath, giggling madly.

He looks very pitiful and confused now. Please, take pity on the poor Jedi!

She manages to calm, though her lips twitch as she looks up at him. "You, uh." Beat, trying not to laugh again. "Do you...um. Understand the shirt?"

"Apparently not." Poor thing so doesn't get it.

Kitty's lip twitches again. "Um." Beat. "'Doing it' is slang for having intercourse, Anakin. Jedi 'do it'...forcefully." And if he wants any more of an explanation than that, he can go find Desire, dammit.

*Raph exits the Staff Hallway, which he's affectionately named "The War Zone". His clothing is spattered with paint and what appears to be dried wallpaper paste.

He heads towards the bar for a bottle of Gatorade. He doesn't catch glimpse of Anakin until he's half way through his first gulp. Shame that, spittakes are quite messy.*

It's a good thing Anakin wasn't in the way of that. Wouldn't want to get his new shirt all messy.

"Raph? What? ...oh, the shirt."

Sara's wandering around the bar, feeling somewhat bored since Barry left. Raising a bottle of water, she's inwardly glad she spotted Anakin before taking a drink.

She blinks. Twice. Once because it's Anakin Skywalker. And the other because of the shirt.

She begins giggling.

Anakin looks over at the new woman and sighs. "The bar has quite a sense of humor, doesn't she?"

She's trying to be sympathetic. She truly is. Just isn't succeeding very well.

"That may be the way the bar shows her affection." She giggles again. "Forgive me, I was just taken by surprise."

"Don't worry, people have been doing that all afternoon. I had to force Kitty to tell me what was so funny."

He remembers his manners. "I'm Anakin, by the way."

"Sara Sidle," she says with a smile. Try repeating that ten times fast.

"Kitty? I don't believe I've met her yet. Though I doubt I'll ever be able to meet everyone who comes here." Her smile turns wry.

"No, probably not. You do get to know faces after a while, though."

She nods in agreement. "And I have yet to completely fear for my life. Which is always a plus."

"Been here long?"

"Just over six months. You needn't worry about fearing for your life; that's what us Security Staff are for. Violence is against the rules."
