I'm fine, *Meg says cheerfully back.* I had a bit of a shock earlier, but I'm all right now.

"A shock?" Inquiring look, check. Undertone of disapproval, check. Faint suggestion that Meg has done something stupid again, very much check. (Hypocrisy, big fat check plus.)

Faith comes up behind Meg, in full Slayer stealth mode, grabs her arm perhaps a little tighter than she should, and practically hisses, "What the fuck are you plotting, Meg?"

*Meg spins around, blinking.*

"I just had another dream," Faith snarls, looking very angry. "A dream in which you and Andrew were knitting a quilt out of human bodies. One of whom was Nick's, and another of whom was mine. So I was thinking, there are actually only three people I've dreamed of more than once since this mess started. One is Nick. One is you. One is Andrew. So I ask again. What are you plotting?"

*Meg says:*

*Which, you know, translates loosely as WTF.*

Yep. Hopefully, he'll have finally learned not to mess with me. I think we've managed a tenative truce, which largely consists of keeping our distance from each other.

*Meg giggles.* Oh, I'm not keeping my distance. I'm going to harass him as much as humanly possible. I think, *she adds primly,* it'll be good for him.
